Universal Declaration of Balanced and Inclusive Education
On 29 January 2020, at the Closing Ceremony of the III ForumBIE 2030, 29 governments, along with 14 civil society organisations and academic entities, became the first to sign the Universal Declaration of Balanced and Inclusive Education (UDBIE) – thereby committing to strive, collectively and individually, to establish Balanced and Inclusive Education as a common standard worldwide.
Constitutive Charter of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation (OEC)
The Organisation of Educational Cooperation (OEC) was established on 29 January 2020 by Latin American, Caribbean, African, Asian, Middle Eastern and Pacific Island countries at the International Summit on Balanced and Inclusive Education held in Djibouti.
International Call on Balanced and Inclusive Education (ICBIE)
On 22 November 2018, in the context of the II ForumBIE 2030, representatives of Ministries of Education, International Agencies, Academic Bodies, and Civil Society Organisations convened in Mexico City to sign the International Call on Balanced and Inclusive Education (ICBIE), based upon the Global Guide of Ethics, Principles, Policies, and Practices in Balanced and Inclusive Education (Global Guide).

Launched on 21 November 2018 at the II ForumBIE 2030, this publication is the result of ERF’s collaboration with its Consultative Expert Working Group (CEWG) and other leading international experts to deliver on its commitment to prepare a Global Guide for Balanced and Inclusive Education within a year of the I ForumBIE 2030.
